Acceptable use of the website

CÉF wishes to promote fair and responsible use of the resources on the website and to discourage activities that could harm the educational mandate of our organization. The usage policy is designed to protect the security and privacy of our customers and users, as well as preserve the image and reputation of CÉF as a provider of educational services. All users of the website, whether current or potential CÉF customers, or visitors, must comply with this policy.

CÉF promotes the free flow of non-confidential information.

CÉF may cooperate with legal authorities and/or third parties in the investigation of any suspected or alleged crime, including tort. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of educational services offered.

PROHIBITED CONDUCT

All users of the site are prohibited from engaging in the following conduct:

Unlawful Use – using the website to transmit any material (by email, upload, download, posting or otherwise), whether intentionally or unintentionally, that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local law, provincial, federal or international, or any other regulations promulgated;

Harm to Minors – using the website to harm or attempt to harm minors in any way;

Threats – using the website to transmit any material (by email, upload, download, posting or otherwise) that threatens or encourages bodily harm or destruction of property;

Harassment – using the website to transmit any material (by email, upload, download, posting or otherwise) that harasses another individual;

Fraudulent activity – using the site to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy services or even to promote any type of financial fraud;

Forgery or impersonation – adding, removing or modifying information from the site for the purpose of deceiving or misleading, or attempting to impersonate;

Unauthorized access – using the site to access or attempt to access other users or customers of CÉF, or to infiltrate or attempt to infiltrate CÉF security measures.

Copyright or Trademark Infringement – use the website to transmit any material (by e-mail, upload, download, posting, or otherwise) or otherwise reproduce, distribute or provide access to information, and other material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or proprietary right of any third party, which includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized duplication of copyrighted material, scanning and distribution of photographs from the site or other sources protected by copyright;

Collection of personal data – using the site to collect or attempt to collect personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent;

Resell the Services – Resell CÉF services without CÉF authorization pursuant to a partnership agreement or otherwise;

Harmful messages – use the website to post or transmit any information or software that contains a virus, “cancellation bots”, “Trojan horse”, “worm” or other harmful or disruptive component.

REVISIONS TO THIS USE POLICY

The CÉF reserves the right to revise, amend or modify the policy at any time and in any way.
